As regards the scientific activity, he has published about 257 articles in peer-reviewed journals, his total Impact Factor is over 700 and the Hirsch Index (H-index) is 46 (in Scopus) and 53 (in Google Scholar). He has given more than 300 presentations in national and international meetings. The main areas of his clinical practice and research include urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction (such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, urinary tract infections, delivery and pelvic damage...) and gynaecological surgery.
